OEC launches its open innovation program, OEC IN, on Monday, July 4.

Hatem Soliman, an Egyptian-Brazilian national, has taken office as a member of the OEC Board of Directors. The seven-member board now has four independent members.

The OEC Board of Directors has approved the name of Lucas Cive Barbosa to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer at the construction company. Officer He will take office as of June 6, replacing the current CFO, Jayme Fonseca, who concludes his 29-year cycle of important services to the Novonor Group.

In the past few days, OEC representatives attended the VDC - Virtual Design and Construction Introductory program, based on the concepts and grid of the Stanford Center for Professional Development and CIFE - Center for Integrated Facility Engineering program - a result of a partnership between SINICON (Sindicato Nacional da Indústria da Construção Pesada) and CONEXIG. The entity's initiative aims at to bring its associates closer to strategic partners, offering the opportunity to adhere to the best practices and most modern methodologies available to the infrastructure market.

The objective of the work is to add 30% to the current production capacity of 200 thousand tons/year, increasing it to 260 thousand tons/year, in order to meet the product high demand on a global level.

OEC recently launched a new safety sign on construction sites, updating a classic model to a version that better represents the diversity of the company.

Now, instead of "Men Working", we will have "People Working" signs on our construction sites, ensuring that everyone feels represented.
