The South Gas Consortium, formed by Tenenge and OEC, concluded, on March 24 last, the largest maritime Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) in South America, in Babitonga Bay, Santa Catarina.

The operation, also called shore approach, started on March 17, when a column of pipes approximately 1,667 meters long was moved from the city of Itapoá and launched out to sea in the bay. To ensure the safety of the activity, the navigation channel was closed and the entire operation went according to plan.

Last Wednesday (15) Panama City launched the Line 2 extension connecting the downtown area to the international airport, making Panama City one of the few capitals in Latin America to have an airport metro line.

The Federal Executive’s initiative rewards companies in the infrastructure sector that adopt good practices in corporate governance, as well as develop and encourage ethical behavior, transparency actions, and fraud and corruption prevention.

On February 27, the government of the State of Rio de Janeiro signed a contract and issued the service order for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant in Xerém, in Baixada Fluminense. OEC – Engineering and Construction will be responsible for the construction of the project, from the earthmoving and drainage stages, to reinforced concrete structures, pump houses, electric power substation, administrative and laboratory buildings, as well as performing the local urban planning project.
