Mervyn Lowe, investor and board member of startups such as Appus and P3D Education, is the guest of the new episode of the OEC Conexão, a podcast about the main trends in the engineering and infrastructure sector. Working in the open innovation field and in the development of innovation hubs, Mervyn Lowe shares all his experience in the sector, the evolution of discussions during this period, and the main novelties within the context of 21st century engineering. The third episode of the OEC Conexão has just been released.

ICN (Itaguaí Construções Navais) delivered the first Riachuelo Class submarine to the Brazilian Navy. The Weapons Show Ceremony was held this past Thursday, 01/09, after an extensive and rigorous testing schedule was completed to ensure the completion of this highly complex project.

On July 20 and 21, the IIRSA North project received the first visit of a group of students from the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering course from the University of Piura, Peru. The students visited the Limón Press facilities of the Olmos Project, the Lamparan Industrial Unit, and the works being carried out by OEC in Peru on the IIRSA North highway.

Hatem Soliman, an Egyptian-Brazilian national, has taken office as a member of the OEC Board of Directors. The seven-member board now has four independent members.
