Tenenge will expand the Green Ethylene plant for Braskem

Built between 2008 and 2010 by Tenenge for Braskem, the Green Ethylene plant located in the city of Triunfo (RS) will be expanded by the same construction company this year. The objective of the work is to add 30% to the current production capacity of 200 thousand tons/year, increasing it to 260 thousand tons/year, in order to meet the product high demand on a global level.

ABEMI launches best practices guide with OEC participation

OEC, through Tenenge, participated in a study carried out by ABEMI (Brazilian Association of Industrial Engineering) focused on Work Safety. Launched in January 2022 by a working group formed by professionals from several companies in the sector, the Zero Accidents Good Practices Guide addresses issues such as the importance of social involvement in searching for new practices aiming at to preserve life; the magnitude of leadership movements in achieving goals and, moreover, seeking to draw attention to such an important subject: work safety.

OEC will build a US$ 499 million maritime terminal in Angola

After winning an international public bid that began in January of this year, OEC signed on Wednesday (September 1st) a contract with Angola's state-owned oil company, Sonangol, to build the Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal, located about 60 kilometers north of the capital, Luanda. The work will include the conclusion of the Refined Products Storage Park and the construction of a ship docking dock, infrastructures considered indispensable for the expansion of the import capacity, export and storage of petroleum products in the country.

OEC is the largest heavy infrastructure company in Brazil, according to the ranking 2021 of the magazine O Empreiteiro, the most traditional publication of the segment edited in the national territory. This year, the Brazilian Engineering Ranking has completed 50 years of existence, annually compiling audited data from the largest companies in the construction industry.

OEC Integrity Program is certified on ISO 37001 international anti-bribery management standard

ISO 37001OEC Integrity program is certified under ISO 37001, a global standard for the management of anti-bribery systems. One of the first heavy construction firms in Brazil to receive the seal, OEC was audited by QMS Certification Services. The certification, which is valid for three years, also includes its subsidiaries OECI, CNO, Tenenge, CBPO and Oenger.
