Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção S.A. announces implementation and completion of its debt restructuring
SÃO PAULO, January 20, 2021 - Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção S.A. (“OEC” and, together with certain of its subsidiaries the “Company”) announced today that it has successfully completed the previously announced restructuring of its obligations in respect of the (i) 7.00% Senior Notes due 2020, (ii) 5.125% Notes due 2022, (iii) 6.00% Notes due 2023, (iv) 4.375% Notes due 2025, (v) 5.250% Notes due 2029, (vi) 7.125% Notes due 2042, and (vii) 7.500% Perpetual Notes (collectively, the “Old Notes”) (the “Restructuring”).

OEC has successfully completed the period it was under the monitoring of a representative appointed by the United States Department of Justice (DoJ), in compliance with the commitments assumed in the leniency agreement signed in December 2016.
The Official Gazette of Minas Gerais published last Tuesday (06) the result of the public tender carried out by Copasa for the project to implement the Water Supply System in the Municipality of Montes Claros - Sistema São Francisco.
OEC will be one of three companies responsible for the installation of pipes for the new pipeline in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The construction of the new pipeline will create a total of 550 jobs at works peak, in the first semester of 2021.
After being selected as the best project of the year in the Renovation category by the judges of the Global Best Projects award, granted by the north american publication ENR, Colón Reurbanization, in Panama, was chosen as the 2020 Global Best Project among all 30 initially elected.
