OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Alubar Energia were hired under an EPC (engineering, equipment acquisition and construction) regime to build OnSolar, the first photovoltaic power plant of the OnCorp Group, a venture that will have the capacity to generate 2.5 MW of power.

OEC wins contract to duplicate PR-092 Highway
OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction is the winner of the bid for the duplication of the PR-092 Highway, which connects Curitiba to Almirante Tamandaré, cities in the southern state of Paraná. The work will last 24 months and will contribute to improve trafficability in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.
CNO reaches settlement agreement with the IDB Group

OEC begins construction of 40 health units in Belo Horizonte
On July 22, OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction, through the BH Health Concessionaire, signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract with the City of Belo Horizonte and began the construction of 40 health centers in the capital of Minas Gerais, an investment of approximately R$ 215 million. The first unit should be ready by December this year.
Laúca: Angola's largest energy producer
On July 6th, Laúca Hydroelectric Plant’s fifth generator initiated commercial operation, reaching a capacity of 1,670 MW. With this installed capacity, Laúca surpasses the sum of Capanda (520 MW) and Cambambe (960 MW), until recently the main hydroelectric power plants of Angola.
