OEC is once again recognized with the GHG Protocol Gold Seal

For the 11th consecutive year, OEC has received the Gold Seal of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHG), awarded by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation’s Center for Sustainability Studies (FGVces). The initiative encourages a corporate culture of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories in Brazil, provoking relevant reflections on how organizations can tackle climate change.

OEC guarantees maintenance of ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications

This June, OEC was successful in the certification process for its Sustainability actions, which underpins its positioning and actions in this area. After an extensive audit conducted by Bureau Veritas, a globally recognized independent certification body, the company’s projects in Brazil and Angola ensured that the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for the company’s environmental management and occupational health and safety systems were maintained.

Institute of Internal Auditors recognizes actions of OEC and Novonor

For the third year running, OEC was awarded by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Brazil (IIA Brazil) in the IIA May campaign for the various actions that praise and raise awareness of the importance of Internal Auditing. This year Novonor also took part and was recognized.

May is International Internal Audit Awareness Month. During this period, members of the OEC and Novonor from the various countries in which the companies operate were impacted by communication actions about the progress made so far.

The Ministry of Infrastructure awards OEC for Integrity and Governance

In another recognition of the work for continuous improvement of governance and integrity undertaken in recent years, OEC - Engenharia e Construção received on Tuesday (12/13), in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Infrastructure, in Brasília, the Infra+ Integrity Seal. The Federal Executive’s initiative rewards companies in the infrastructure sector that adopt good practices in corporate governance, as well as develop and encourage ethical behavior, transparency actions, and fraud and corruption prevention.
