On June 10, 11, and 12, 2025, the 12th International Compliance Congress took place in São Paulo, organized by LEC (Legal, Ethics & Compliance).

Recognized as the most important event in the field in Latin America, the congress brought together thousands of professionals from the public and private sectors to discuss the main challenges and innovations in ethics, governance, and compliance.

Bruno Brasil, Global Director of Compliance and Internal Audit at Novonor Group and Odebrecht, participated in the session “LEC Talks – The Road Back to the Market After Corporate Scandals”, where he spoke about the repositioning of companies involved in major scandals. Using real-life examples and organizational culture analysis, Bruno presented the transformation journey that has made Odebrecht's Integrity Program an international case study, highlighting the company’s cultural and structural advancements.

In the panel “The Mind Behind the Rule — How to Implement Compliance Programs Based on Behavioral Sciences,” Gabriel Cabral, responsible for Integrity Culture, Communication, and Training at Odebrecht Engenharia & Construção, discussed the application of behavioral science in compliance programs.
