Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Novonor have once again been recognized with the IIA May Seal, awarded by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Brazil (IIA Brazil). This marks the fourth consecutive year that Odebrecht has received the seal and the second consecutive year for Novonor. The award is given to organizations that promote the principles and importance of Internal Auditing in their business operations.

During International Internal Audit Awareness Month, held in May, Odebrecht carried out a series of initiatives focused on highlighting the value and strategic role of the internal audit function. These included internal communication campaigns in the countries where the company operates, social media publications, and technical events on topics such as training, sampling techniques, and performance management. All initiatives reinforced the company’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and operational excellence across all areas of activity.

According to Gemau Halla, Head of Internal Audit at Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Novonor, the achievement reflects the company's ongoing commitment to integrity and governance. “Internal Audit plays a strategic role within the company, contributing to business integrity and the development of consistent, responsible results aligned with best management practices. Receiving the IIA May Seal for the fourth consecutive year strengthens our commitment to transparency and continuous improvement of our processes.”

Bruno Brasil, Director of Integrity and Internal Audit at Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Novonor, also commented on the recognition. “The IIA May Seal is an important acknowledgment that reinforces the relevance of Internal Auditing as a pillar of integrity and management support.
