Cabinda Refinery

The project results from a partnership between Gemcorp and Sonangol, through a joint venture in which Gemcorp holds 90% of the capital and Sonangol 10%. In its first phase, this modular refinery will process up to 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day, supplied by Sonangol, and will double its capacity to 60,000 barrels/day after the completion of the second phase, which is already underway.

Laúca Hydroelectric Power Plant

Civil works, supply, assembly and commissioning of the electromechanical equipment of the largest Angolan hydroelectric complex, comprising a reservoir with 188 km² and a main plant with six turbines, totaling an installed capacity of 2,073 MW, enough to supply a city of 8 million inhabitants. Expansion of five substations and construction of four new ones.

Capanda Hydroelectric Plant

Civil works and infrastructure of the hydroelectric plant with 520 MW of power (4 x 130 MW), comprising construction of a dam with 110 m of height and 1,470 m of length, which forms a lake of 170 km², road of 60 km of extension, residential village with 255 thousand m² of area, airport runway with extension of 2 thousand meters and transmission line of 30 kV, with 60 km of extension, among other services.
